Election Leadership

With crucial votes coming up, both up and down the ballot, the College Democrats of Massachusetts have dedicated our resources to making sure we elect Democrats and pursue progressive policy change.

These two appointed leaders have been leading the charge this election cycle. Keep an eye out for their work!

Elections Director: Teresa Morin, Boston University ’18

Teresa Morin is a junior at Boston University majoring in International Relations and Political Science. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Teresa is a strong and active Democrat. She has spent al of her summers working in government affairs consulting in Washington, D.C. and previously worked for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren. Outside of the politics, Teresa is the Assistant Program Director for Debate Mate USA, an educational nonprofit that provides after school debate programs for middle school students. In her free time, she is an active member of the BU International Affairs Association and is a proud sister of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

Elections Media Coordinator: Ellie Pasternack, UMass Amherst ’18

Eleora (Ellie) Pasternack is a junior at the University of Massachusetts where she is majoring in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies. Her political experience includes internships with Steve Grossman for Governor, Congresswoman Katherine Clark (MA-5), and the Violence Policy Center in Washington D.C. At UMass Ellie is a member of UMass Democrats, Challah for Hunger, Iota Gamma Upsilon, and a fellow of the UMass Women into Leadership program. Her hobbies include rewatching The West Wing over and over, eating Ben & Jerry's straight out of the container, and figuring out how to become the next Elizabeth Warren when she grows up.
