Along with pursuing an International Relations Major and Child Development minor, Jaya volunteers for Generation Citizen-an organization that works to promote civic engagement and empower young individuals to become engaged and effective citizens-, is campaign coordinator for Tufts for Hillary, and an active member of Tufts Democrats planning board. "I am a rising Senior at UMass Amherst. My first involvement in Democratic activism was volunteering to canvass for Elizabeth Warren's campaign against Scott Brown.
